Carson's Gray, White, & Yellow Nursery

It dawned on me that I haven't yet posted any pictures of little man's nursery since the move. It's been five months already. Can you believe that?!

This is partly because he didn't really get a big "room re-do" like big sis did. Reason being - we weren't quite ready for a big boy bed, and well, he was barely 18 months old when we moved. All his nursery stuff is still fairly new. I couldn't see changing it up until we were ready to switch from the crib to a bed.

Carson's walls in the old house were yellow, but mainly because I had just painted them not even two years before he was born, when his room was the guest room. No way was I painting again.

When we moved in here, we had most every room painted. We chose Sherwin Williams Amazing Gray for Carson's room as well as our room and the upstairs restroom.

This antique toy car was my dad's when he was a little boy, back in the late 1940's. He'd always looked forward to the day when he could give it to his own grandson. I'm so glad he was able to.

I figure in 6ish months, when we make the bed switch, I'll re-do it all. I'm excited and need to get to pinning ideas!

  1. I love the color palette you chose! Everything goes together so well and the garland is too cute.

  2. I like the yellow and gray combo! Very fun! And I don't blame you for waiting to change things up... it can be too much at once after a move for sure!

  3. I love the grey and yellow together! My favourite part is the garland. So cute!

  4. I love this colour combination! Such an
    Adorable room, great job!

  5. Gray is so classic! It looks so polished. Great job!

  6. The gray walls are great. This color scheme would work well for a gender neutral option as well.

  7. I love grey, white and yellow together! And this combo works SO well for a little boy's nursery! Fantastic job!

  8. I like the giraffe most of all
