Tory Burch Reva Flats Sizing Tips

I've been meaning to do this post for quite a while. So for a little break from all the moving talk, why not at nearly 3 am?

I'll start by saying I wear either a 6 or 6 1/2 in shoes. More commonly, 6 1/2. I started with 6 1/2 in the Reva's. Way too big. I'm not exaggerating when I say they were bigger than any other 6 1/2 I've ever put on. I sent them back.

Since the 6 1/2 was so huge, I figured I needed to go down a full size and not just a half. I ordered 5 1/2. To small! After reading up, I learned that these shoes need breaking in and started to wonder if maybe I just needed to give them time to stretch. I wore them around the house for a few hours and decided to send them back for some 6's.

The 6's arrived and fit perfect.

Conclusion: If you usually go between two different sizes, choose the smaller of those two for your Tory Burch Reva Ballet Flats. Or you could just go to a store and try them on. That would work too. For those of you ordering online, I hope this helps!

Aren't they pretty? I'm already plotting my next pair, in black.

(Note: This post is written in reference to the Reva flats pictured here, with the non-scrunchy back. I don't know if the ones with the scrunchy backs fit differently or not

  1. I had the opposite experience! I'm usually a 10 and my 10's took awhile to break in. I wish I would have gotten a 10.5 because my 10s still feel tight after a full day of wear.

  2. Great post idea! However, I'm with Veronika. I've been wearing Revas for about 7 years and I've always gone up a full size. I got some for Christmas and I think I even went up 1.5 sizes. Did you not get blisters the first few wears? I still do and I wear mine a few times a week.

  3. Do you guys have the scrunchy or structured back ones? I think the fit is different....or I wonder if they're making them differently now?

  4. And yeah, I do get a little sore on my heel if I wear them for a long time.

  5. Such a good post idea! Reva's are SO tricky! I find the new style (non-scrunchy back) fits much better and more comfortably than the old style!
