My Workplace {The Day Spa}

No, this isn't another post about my stay at home mommy life. I actually do have a job. Ok, ok - I come here twice a month. Still counts...kind of?

I've been at the spa now for almost ten years. Up until kids I was here full time. I like what I do and the little mommy break, so I just hang around here every so often for as long as they'll have me. I love my clients and it's a great gig.

For those who are new here or don't already know, I'm a licensed Esthetician. Today I'm at work and have some down time while waiting on a client so I figured I'd show you my space and some of the spa. It's a pretty cute place.

I'll start with my treatment room, where the magic happens.

The spa area - where all the treatment rooms are. There is also an upstairs jacuzzi room and two additional massage rooms.

Lobby and retail area.

 Products.

Makeup.

 I love the outside patio area here.

A creek runs along the back of the property. So pretty.

We also have a hair salon and nail room which are currently in use. I didn't think clients would really appreciate me going in and snapping pictures.

There you have my little slice of work. Now for me to actually go do work. Happy weekend, y'all!

  5. Okay, I'm kind of dying for a facial now! How fun that you go in twice a month! I got to my salon once a week and it's the perfect mommy escape! My parents watch Mia so it's a win-win all around!

  6. It's so nice that you have this little getaway! I've actually been debating applying for a receptionist job at my salon/spa just to have some mommy time. I actually checked their job posting right before coming to your blog...so maybe that's a sign.....hmmmm!

    1. Definitely a sign. It really is such a nice little break. Even on days that I'm not super busy at work.

  7. Oh! I would love for you to do a candid post on the products that we should buy from a spa and those we can cheap out on. I went for a facial a few months ago and of course I was told I need to spend on the really nice products, but I'm just not sure. And there are several brands to choose from.

    1. Such a good idea. I was actually just thinking about doing a "recommended cheap products" post.
